The Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at US$ 64.360,00 this Friday (24), down 1% over the last 24 hours. Even with the pullback, the asset still posts gains of 2% for the week and is trying to hold above the US$ 64 thousand range. Trading volume in the period totals US$ 23,46 billion.

The bulls have lost strength. Without consistent buying flow, BTC is merely moving sideways, unable to turn the newly reclaimed support into a new upward leg.

Part of the caution comes from the regulatory environment in the United States. Investors are following the next steps of Clarity Act, a project that aims to define the market structure for digital assets in the country.

While there are no more concrete advances in its progress, the market remains in wait-and-see mode, with smaller positions and less appetite for risk.

How the main cryptocurrencies are doing today

The picture is mostly negative among the largest assets, excluding stablecoins.

The Ethereum (ETH) is down 1,9% in 24 hours, priced at US$ 1.860,61. XRP is down 1,9%, at US$ 1,10, and BNB loses 1,3%, trading at US$ 560,83.

The steepest declines are seen in Dogecoin (DOGE), which is down 3,3% and is quoted at US$ 0,0687, and Solana (SOL), down 2,9%, at US$ 74,52. Hyperliquid (HYPE) is down 2,3%, at US$ 58,16.

The exception among the large caps is TRON (TRX), which is up 1,2% on the day, at US$ 0,3305, and has accumulated a gain of 2,5% over the week.

With the market in an almost broad-based correction, the positive highlight in the top 100 is Audiera (BEAT), which is up nearly 10% and is trading at US$ 3,06.

What to watch

The defense of US$ 64 thousand remains the main point of attention. Losing this level could open room for a broader correction.

A recovery in volume, combined with clearer signs about the Clarity Act, would give buyers the missing momentum to try for a breakout.

Price analysis: what traders are saying

Among analysts, the reading of the current moment is far from consensual — but the two names below converge on one point: support is what defines the thesis.

For Michaël van de Poppe (@CryptoMichNL), the recent move is constructive. The analyst assesses that Bitcoin's recovery signals the continuation of the uptrend and that the asset has been holding in the US$ 64.000 range, which he treats as support. In his projection, the most likely path is continued movement toward US$ 70,000 or above.

The reading is relevant because BTC is trading today exactly at that level: at US$ 64.360, the price is practically glued to the line that supports the optimistic scenario.

Meanwhile, Merlijn The Trader (@MerlijnTrader)works with a technical symmetry thesis. He notes that two liquidity sweeps marked the top above US$ 126 thousand and that two others have now marked the low near US$ 60 thousand — the same move, mirrored. The trader says that the bears had every reason to be right up to this point, but that this would be the first time they are not.

He himself, however, sets a clear limit: he does not call a bottom based on symmetry alone and abandons the idea if US$ 60 thousand is lost. If the level holds, in his assessment, those left in an uncomfortable position are the sellers.

In practice, the two outline the same decision zone. Between US$ 60 thousand and US$ 64 thousand lies the range that separates the continuation of the recovery from a deeper correction.
