How Real uses assets as collateral

The operation involves the deposit of Real World Assets (RWA), which undergo verification and are mirrored on-chain. With this, crypto liquidity is directed to the lending operation while preserving the user's control over the asset.

When the loan is repaid, the collateral is released, returning the asset to its original state.

Purpose: leverage with more capital efficiency

Real (REAL) aims to enable leverage based on existing value, reducing the need for forced sales of the asset. By organizing access to liquidity through tokenized collateral linked to the real world, the system tends to improve capital efficiency.

Technology: on-chain execution and preservation of ownership

With the assets verified and reflected on-chain, the liquidity flow can occur within the protocol's mechanism, maintaining the link to the user's ownership.
