Ripple has intensified the promotion of Ripple Swell 2026, a conference that will be held between October 27 and 29, at The Shed, in Manhattan, New York. The company also reminded that the discounted ticket sales period is coming to an end, while raising expectations for the most complete edition of the event.
This year, the conference was structured to bring together financial institutions, developers, technology companies, and members of the XRP community. The goal is to promote discussions on the evolution of the on-chain economy and its integration with the traditional financial system.
In a post on X, the organization reinforced this positioning by inviting different profiles from the sector to the meeting. “Join financial leaders, creators, developers, and the XRP community in New York this October to explore the intersection between traditional finance and the on-chain economy.”
The message shows that Ripple Swell 2026 intends to bring together executives, researchers, financial technology companies, and blockchain specialists in the same environment, expanding the conference’s reach compared with previous editions.
Another highlight is the end of the promotional ticket batch. Early passes remain available until July 11 for US$ 1.000. After that date, the price will be adjusted to US$ 1.200, alongside the opening of the regular batch.
Ripple integrates Swell and Apex for the first time
One of the main new features of the 2026 edition will be the integration between Ripple Swell and Apex, an event traditionally aimed at developers of the XRP Ledger.
For the first time, the two conferences will take place jointly, bringing together technical professionals, financial market executives, researchers, and companies interested in adopting blockchain-based solutions.
According to Ripple, the expectation is to receive more than 1.500 participants, feature 75 speakers and host more than 50 sessions distributed across three stages.
The program will cover topics such as international payments, stablecoins, asset tokenization, capital markets, regulation, decentralized finance (DeFi), cybersecurity, treasury management, and XRP applications for businesses.
Brad Garlinghouse leads speaker lineup
Among the participants already confirmed are Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, president Monica Long and chief technology officer emeritus David Schwartz.
Tom Farley, CEO of Bullish, Billy Hult, CEO of Tradeweb, and Matt Damon, co-founder of Water.org, will also participate. The company said that new speakers and program details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Hackathon opens the Ripple Swell 2026 program
Activities begin before the official opening of the conference. On October 24 and 25, a hackathon dedicated to the development of new solutions for the XRP Ledger.
On October 27, the invitation-only Institutional Summit and the welcome reception will take place. In the following two days, the program will include talks, technical panels, parallel sessions, an exhibition area, product demonstrations, and meetings between representatives of the financial sector and companies from the cryptocurrency industry.
With the combination of Swell and Apex, Ripple broadens the conference’s focus by bringing together, in a single event, discussions on blockchain infrastructure, institutional adoption, financial innovation, and the applications of XRP in different segments of the market.
