About
Everything you need to know about Palm Economy: origin, how it works, supply and official resources.
Palm Economy is a DeFi project focused on Real World Assets (RWA) and Commodities Trade, aimed at bringing the commodities market closer to blockchain-based solutions. On the network, the PALM utility token supports the Palmyra ecosystem, backing operations such as tokenization and trade financing. The proposal seeks to increase transparency and efficiency in access to global trade.
The Palmyra ecosystem uses RWA tokenization to represent real-world assets in on-chain format. In addition, it applies trade financing in a decentralized way, connecting commodities operations to digital processes. The goal is to improve the traceability and organization of transactions.
PALM acts as a utility token within the ecosystem, serving as the foundation for Palm Economy’s functionalities. As part of the system infrastructure, it is related to supporting activities involving tokenization, credentials, and on-chain tracking. In this way, the token contributes to the functioning of the proposed model.
Palm Economy incorporates on-chain traceability and credentials to strengthen process verification. This is combined with RWA tokenization to promote greater transparency in the trading cycle. The focus is to reduce opacity and make the flow of information easier to understand.
The project was designed to address a broad gap in access to the commodities market and trade financing in different regions. The mentioned solutions include deployment in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Japan, Argentina, Paraguay, Greece, and East Africa. The use of tokenized RWAs is presented as a way to expand market access and operational efficiency.
