League of Ancients (LOA) is a Free-to-Play MOBA NFT GameFi game built on Binance Smart Chain, focused on 5v5 matches in the eSports format. Inspired by League of Legends and Dota, it brings the experience to Android and iOS users in the Metaverse in real time.

What League of Ancients is for and how the game works

In each match, 10 players enter the Ancient Realm map to fight in 5v5 team battles. The map lanes lead to the rival bases, with minions and towers defending the paths, while areas such as the jungle and river can be used strategically to hunt creatures and reposition in ambushes.

The objective is to destroy the opposing team's base, combining lane control and tactical decisions during the fight.

Game modes, progression, and rewards

There are three modes: Normal Match, NFT Match, and Tournaments. In Normal Match, the competition is unranked 5v5 and the player does not lose ranking titles when not winning, being able to choose any hero, with the restriction of not having more than one of the same hero on the team.

In NFT Match, the mode is competitive and seasonal, with ranked divisions and MMR and in-game currency gained when winning. At the end of the season, the rankings are reset and a new season begins.

LOA token, acquisition, and token structure

LOA tokens can be obtained by playing League of Ancients and through staking in Ancient Realms. In the TGE scheduled for December 12, 2021, 1 billion LOA were created at genesis, with allocations for Play-to-Earn, Staking, and other purposes described in the project's distribution.

In Tournaments, organizers can host tournaments supervised by the game, with an entry fee and prizes in LOA tokens.
