Hoge Finance (HOGE) is a DeFi token focused on auto-staking, described as community-driven and based on the ERC-20 standard. Previously called Hoge.Finance or Hogecoin, the initiative was launched as a memecoin with a deflationary proposal, connecting the Doge theme to DeFi mechanisms.

How HOGE's deflationary mechanics work

HOGE applies a 2% fee on each transaction. Of this total, 1% is sent to a burn wallet and permanently removed from the supply, while the other 1% is redistributed among wallets that hold HOGE outside of exchanges.

Project history and initial distribution

HOGE was fair-launched on February 7, 2021, with no token allocation for the team. The initial supply was 1.000.000.000.000, with 500 billion permanently burned at launch.

Security, audit, and score

The project is among the first DeFi memecoins to complete a Certik audit. No critical, major, or medium findings were found, with a Skynet security score of 90.

Use cases and community initiatives

HOGE began minting NFTs aimed at holders and also started supporting eSports events and truck races. In addition, a non-profit Swiss hybrid DAO model was created for community-approved actions and for signing contracts and agreements with centralized exchanges.
