Bonzo Finance (BONZO) is an open source and non-custodial protocol focused on cryptocurrency lending and borrowing. The proposal is to allow users to carry out operations with a focus on self-custody, reducing dependence on trusted intermediaries. How Bonzo Finance works

The protocol was developed to facilitate lending and borrowing using assets related to the Hedera ecosystem. Highlights include the focus on $HBAR, the use of native $USDC and Hedera ecosystem assets, as well as major “wrapped” tokens (via bridge). Thus, transactions follow the protocol’s own rules, maintaining non-custodial logic.

Oracles and price feeds

To enable lending and borrowing operations based on market values, Bonzo Finance uses Supra and Chainlink oracles. These components provide price feeds for the supported assets, with the goal of making prices more accurate and reliable in the process. As a result, the protocol seeks to maintain efficient operations aligned with the available information.
