Bitmine Immersion Technologies again expanded its Ethereum reserves, adding 9.946 ETH to its digital asset treasury in the past week. With the new acquisition, the company now holds 5.787.414 ETH.
The accumulated volume is valued at about US$ 11,3 billion at current prices. Bitmine also holds approximately 4,8% of the entire Ethereum supply, consolidating one of the largest corporate positions in ETH.
"Bitmine has purchased ETH every week since the beginning of the ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025," chairman Tom Lee said in a statement.
Last week's purchase exceeded the previous acquisition, when the company added 7.430 ETH to its treasury. The increase reinforces Bitmine's strategy of expanding its direct exposure to the market's second-largest cryptocurrency.
In addition to Ethereum purchases, the company accelerated its share buyback program. In the past week, 6,1 million common shares were repurchased, above the 5,5 million acquired in the previous week.
"Bitmine repurchased 6,1 million common shares in the past week, an increase from the 5,5 million acquired in the previous week. We increased our share buyback because we see the growing ETH/BTC ratio, despite the increasingly lower odds of approval of the Clarity Act in 2026, as a sign that cryptocurrency prices are strengthening," Lee said.
In total, Bitmine has already repurchased 11,6 million shares under the previously announced US$ 4 billion buyback program.
Ethereum posted a gain of approximately 4% on Monday and was trading at US$ 1.959,30 at 10:05. The move came as Bitmine expanded its ETH position.
Of the total held by the company, 4.917.189 ETH are staked. The company estimates that this portion could generate annualized revenue of approximately US$ 254 million, adding a source of income to its Ethereum treasury.
