The Bitcoin today (28/06/2026) is trading at US$ 59.524,75, down nearly 2% in the last 24 hours. Even amid selling pressure, the leading cryptocurrency remains close to the psychological mark of US$ 60 mil, while investors follow developments in tensions in the Middle East.
The previous week was marked by strong volatility. After recovering support at US$ 64 mil, Bitcoin reached US$ 65.500, but quickly lost momentum. In the following days, the asset went through a series of corrections that took it below US$ 62.400.
On Wednesday, BTC was traded around US$ 59 mil, pressured by the increase in fear, uncertainty, and doubt among market participants. There was a temporary recovery to US$ 62 mil, but the movement was not sustained and the cryptocurrency fell back to the region of US$ 58 mil, renewing its low since the end of 2024.
Since then, buyers have prevented a steeper decline, allowing a partial recovery. However, the market lost strength again over the last 24 hours, keeping Bitcoin below the US$ 60 mil barrier.
The stability observed over the weekend was interrupted by a new wave of selling, while investors remain attentive to the worsening tensions between the United States and Iran. Despite this, Bitcoin continues to represent the largest share of the cryptocurrency market, maintaining dominance close to 56%.
Among the main cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is traded at US$ 1.570,29, down approximately 1% over the last 24 hours. Solana is also following the movement and declines about 1%, being quoted at US$ 71,48.
Other cryptocurrencies are also trading lower. BNB is posting a slight decline, while Dogecoin is losing more than 2%. ZEC remains among the day's negative highlights, and AAVE has given back part of its recent gains, returning to trade below US$ 90.
Meanwhile, M expanded its losses, accumulating a drop of about 13% and trading near US$ 0,68. In the opposite direction, VELVET and PUMP are among the few positive highlights in the market, posting significant gains while the total cryptocurrency market capitalization falls by about US$ 20 bilhões, remaining below US$ 2,16 trilhões.
