Illuvium is an open world fantasy battle game built entirely on top of the Ethereum blockchain. It is often referred to as the first real AAA game on Ethereum. Can the game be played on mobile?
The game will not be available on mobile to start. But we have plans to build a modified mobile version as well as console versions.
Is there any information about Yield Farming?
You can farm ILV in 2 main pools. ILV/ETH in a 1:1 ratio, combined USD amounts or ILV only. 3 million tokens will be distributed through agricultural production over a 3 year period, with the first year being 1,8 million tokens. Only unlocked tokens can spawn farm which has less than 1 million tokens. That is, you get as many rewards as possible. You can lock your tokens for a maximum of 1 year, which can increase your weight in the pool by up to 2x.
How are you putting such a rich and complex game like this on Ethereum?
Illuvium uses Immutable X as a Tier 2 solution. This means you will not be charged for network gas rates within Illuvium. This keeps the players' cost of doing business low, maximizing earning potential.
When will the game be released?
Our engineers are quickly working to build the game, and the expected release date for the Open Beta is late Q2021 or QXNUMX XNUMX.
What is SILV?
Stakers have the option to claim their tokens in the form of sILV, a synthetic token tied to the $ILV price within the game only. sILV, like ETH, can be used as currency to buy in-game things like Curing Shard, Skins, Enhancements and Travel. Unlike $ILV, there is no grace period in sILV and they can be used immediately as they are claimed.
Note: staking will be active before game launch. As such, sILV will have no immediate purpose until the game's release. The sILV must also be sent to IMX to be used in the game, so there are 2 gas transactions. There will be a notice in the stakeout interface that although sILV can be claimed immediately, it cannot be used for any purpose until the game is live.
What are stakeout pools in the ILV protocol?
There are 2 main pools (contracts) on which you can bet tokens to receive additional $ILV tokens, as well as a third type (flash pools). Below is a detailed view of each pool:
- ILV pool – This pool contains only $ILV. It has a pool weight of 0,2
- ILV/ETH Pool – This pool only contains Sushi LP tokens. It has a pool weight of 0,8.
- Flash Pools – contain only the partner token. There is no set pool weight for these (because there can be many different pools), but they are substantially lower than other pools. Your goal is to provide people outside the $ILV project with some exposure to it. Each pool will have a pool weight advertised prior to going live.
