Crypto game projects almost always face delays in their launch. However, this statement from Shytoshi suggests that there is nothing to worry about with the Shiba Inu game. According to PlaySide Studios the development timeframe is 8 months and the title would be released in the first quarter of 2023. In Australia's financial year, this puts the game's release between July and September 2022.
In a tweet on May 21, Shytoshi said, "Next week things will start to get interesting."
Thanks for letting me push in silence for this week. Next week things will start to get interesting.
Also seen some GREAT art from .@PlaysideStudios for our Shib CCG. Can't wait to share. Great work mates!

It also teased the reveal of the game's artwork, also known as the SHIB Collectable Card Game (SHIB CCG). We already know that the game will draw inspiration from the SHIB ecosystem for these designs, even including a Ryoshi card.
This comes after Shytoshi provided an update on the game's narrative in a recent post on blog.
