Boundless (ZKC) is a universal protocol that brings Zero Knowledge (ZK) capabilities to different networks. The proposal is to allow developers to build high-performance applications without relying on traditional limitations of block size and gas fees.

How the architecture works

With Boundless, developers submit proof requests and providers compete to fulfill them. This process directs direct rewards to providers and protocol-level incentives.

The platform handles steps such as generation, aggregation, and onchain settlement of proofs, reducing operational complexity for those building the application.

What Boundless is used for

The goal of Boundless is to abstract the proof infrastructure, allowing the focus to remain on product logic. This way, developers can build expressive applications with high throughput.

At the same time, providers offer guarantees of liveness, censorship resistance, and contribute to continuously improving the cost of the process through market dynamics.

Scalability and verifiable computation

The architecture separates execution from consensus and introduces a new model for verifiable computation. As the number of Boundless provider nodes grows, the protocol’s total capacity increases.

This design helps scale the processing of verifiable computation across chains, aligning proof work with the growth of the ecosystem.
