Each token is issued and settled on the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin-based layer focused on secure, confidential, and high-speed transactions.

USTBL issuance is backed by real U.S. Treasury securities, held securely and verified monthly by Grant Thornton, an independent auditing firm.

In addition, the asset receives an “A” rating from Particula, an international agency specializing in digital assets.

What USTBL is used for

USTBL can be used as a way to preserve value in dollars with a low-risk profile, as described in its proposal. It is also presented as a collateral option for future regulated DeFi ecosystems.

By operating on the Liquid Network, USTBL integrates into the Bitcoin Ecosystem while also aiming for efficiency and confidentiality in transactions. The coin is also described as the first in a new line of regulated digital assets issued by NexBridge.
