Tharwa (TRWA) is a DeFi ecosystem focused on tokenizing investment strategies in real-world assets. It was structured as a multi-asset tokenized fund, using a stablecoin called thUSD to support stability and liquidity.

How the RWA model works

The system combines thUSD with backing in gold, real estate in the UAE, oil, and U.S. Treasury bills. The proposal maintains a 1:1 peg to the USD, aiming to reduce fluctuations and facilitate the use of the token as a means of trading.

Within the environment, there are vaults oriented toward different risk profiles, with varied APYs. For passive participation, the ecosystem uses sthUSD for yield distribution.

Use of thUSD and trading

In addition to serving as a stable unit within the ecosystem, thUSD has an OTC market for trading. This helps connect the stablecoin to the exchange activities of the system itself.

Role of the TRWA token

$TRWA is used to share revenues and also for governance. In this way, the token links participation in the ecosystem to decisions related to the operation and development of the protocol.
