The first application described for SYMMIO is a technology focused on perps, with the goal of increasing the efficiency of perpetuals trading. This focus supports the development of infrastructure designed for derivatives in the DeFi context.

The meta-derivatives engine aims to allow exposures to be synthesized from widely established assets and also from assets that have not yet been discovered.

How SYMMIO addresses fragmentation in DeFi

One of the problems addressed is fragmentation between markets and forms of access to exposure. SYMMIO proposes a permissionless synthesis of exposure to various assets, helping reduce barriers between ecosystems.
