Rayls (RLS) is a Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem created to connect the traditional financial system (TradFi) to the world of decentralized finance (DeFi). The proposal is to offer an institution-focused infrastructure, with asset tokenization and settlement in a compatible way and with a focus on privacy.

How Rayls works

Developed by Parfin, Rayls brings together a public network, private networks, and institutional privacy nodes in a single architecture. This combination seeks to facilitate integration between banks and regulated payment systems and DeFi liquidity.

The network uses the Rayls Enygma privacy protocol to maintain confidentiality during operation.

What tokenization and settlement are used for

Rayls was designed to support tokenization and settlement with compliance and scalability requirements. With EVM-compatible technology, it allows the issuance and use of tokenized assets, including Real World Assets, CBDCs, and stablecoins.

The system also works with fixed gas fees pegged to USD and deterministic finality.

Technology and protection against MEV

In addition to EVM compatibility, Rayls includes mechanisms to reduce risks associated with harmful MEV. This helps make transaction processing more predictable within the network's logic.
