QuStream (QST) is a Layer 1 blockchain focused on quantum-resistant cryptography, aimed at protecting digital assets, transactions, and sensitive data. The goal is to reduce risks brought by the long-term evolution of quantum computing.

Quantum-safe cryptography technology

The project uses a patent-pending encryption algorithm, created to avoid the fragility of fixed private keys. Instead of static pairs that, if exposed, can compromise entire accounts, QuStream adopts a dynamic system.

This model generates a new private key with each use, cryptographically linked, which helps prevent reuse and reduces the attack surface against classical and quantum adversaries.

Network, consensus, and scalability

QuStream operates with Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and has decentralized validator nodes. These validators distribute the dynamic private keys while maintaining privacy and security in the process.

The network uses sharded infrastructure (sharding) to seek greater processing capacity and high transaction throughput without giving up decentralization.

QST token and use cases

The QST token serves as the foundation of the ecosystem, being used for transaction processing, validator staking, and governance. Initially, QST was launched on Solana and is undergoing a 1:1 migration to QuStream's native blockchain on mainnet.

In addition to blockchain applications, QuStream's technology is aimed at financial institutions, cryptocurrency exchanges, corporate security solutions, and government-level data protection, aligning with the concept of post-quantum cryptography.
