Perpetual Bitcoin (PB) is an autonomous and immutable smart contract system deployed on PulseChain. Instead of using time-based locks, it adopts a price-target locking mechanism, determining when part of the value can be released. Thus, unlocking is conditioned on objective market conditions.

How the price-locking mechanism works

In each purchase, the operation is split between circulating PB and a portion locked in PBc. PBc is unlocked only when predefined price targets are reached. In this way, the protocol eliminates calendar “cliffs” and discretionary release schedules.

The contract’s behavior is fixed in code, making the rules predictable and permanent. As the logic is executed on-chain, releases depend exclusively on the conditions set out in the protocol.

On-chain architecture without governance and without administrative keys

Perpetual Bitcoin operates as a fully on-chain system, described as ownerless. Deployment is carried out without admin keys, and it does not include governance or upgrade paths.

The protocol was designed to be a final product, with consistent execution over time.

Purchase and sale flow on PulseChain

Purchases go through a Vault, responsible for consistently applying the rules of the locking mechanism. Sales, on the other hand, remain unrestricted within the AMM.

As a result, PB integrates into the PulseChain ecosystem, maintaining control of price-locking on entries and preserving flexibility in trading via AMM.
