Looped Hype (LHYPE) is an automated looping protocol aimed at increasing the yield of already staked HYPE. The proposal is to generate additional gains from automatic strategies, complementing the network rewards obtained through staking.

How the looping strategy works

The process begins with the user depositing HYPE to receive LHYPE. Then, the protocol applies an automated strategy behind the scenes to produce extra yield, adding to what would be earned through staking alone.

This design seeks to make yield optimization more accessible within the context of Liquid Staking and the HyperEVM ecosystem.

Purpose and utility of LHYPE

Looped Hype was designed to bring institution-grade yield strategies closer to the general public. The idea is to offer yield-generation mechanisms using a community- and ecosystem-centered architecture.

In addition to the protocol’s role, there is a governance token associated with LHYPE, which supports decisions related to development and alignment with participants.

Governance and ecosystem initiatives

The project has a structure in which 90% of the governance token is distributed to depositors and ecosystem participants. This reinforces the link between protocol usage and community participation.

There is also an initiative called HyperCatalyst, intended to reinvest 1% of the TVL in native Hyperliquid projects.
