Charred Treasures (CHARRED) is a Real World Assets (RWA) project that explores the tokenized management of reserves with active oversight. The proposal combines a model inspired by traditional asset management with on-chain mechanisms to support the long-term growth of what underlies the token.

How tokenized management works

The project uses a Curator model, in which a domain specialist oversees acquisitions and strategic decisions for the project's vault. This role seeks to structure and manage a selected portfolio, reflecting the performance of that portfolio in the CHARRED token.

Purpose and use of CHARRED

CHARRED represents exposure to the performance of the curated managed portfolio. In practice, the token is designed to track the performance of the set of assets selected by the Curator, maintaining the link between the reserve and the tokenized representation.

Curator mandate and assets involved

For this project, the Curator's mandate is to acquire Pokémon Base Set 1st Edition Charizard cards. Thus, the vault's strategy is aligned with this specific segment of trading card RWA, connecting real-world assets to a tokenized format.

Integration between traditional finance and on-chain mechanisms

Charred Treasures combines elements of asset management from the traditional sector with on-chain processes in order to sustain the ongoing management of the reserve. The result is a structure in which the Curator's decisions and on-chain mechanisms contribute to the governance of the portfolio over time.
