Jito Labs announced the launch of JTX, a self-custody trading platform developed for professional traders operating on the Solana blockchain. The new solution aims to combine users' control over their own assets with advanced trading features, bringing the on-chain market experience closer to traditional platforms.

At launch, JTX offers spot trading for assets on the Solana network, including SOL, cbBTC, HYPE and various memecoins. The platform also supports tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), such as stocks and ETFs, a segment that has been posting significant growth within the cryptocurrency market.

The company's proposal is to eliminate the need to give up self-custody in order to access more sophisticated trading tools. Available features include limit orders, conditional orders and automated execution, allowing greater control over buy and sell strategies directly on the blockchain.

“It combines self-custody with execution tools that were normally only available on more advanced trading platforms,” said Lucas Bruder, CEO of Jito Labs. “Users hold their own keys, settlement occurs on the blockchain and there are no custody-related disadvantages.”

Fee model benefits Jito DAO

The platform charges a fee on each transaction carried out. According to Jito Labs, 80% of this revenue will be allocated to Jito DAO to buy back and burn JTO tokens, while the remaining 20% will be distributed to participants responsible for referrals, according to the trading activity generated.

In addition to JTX, the company's ecosystem already includes products such as Jito Block Engine, JitoSOL, BAM and the JTO governance token. In the coming months, the developer intends to add perpetual futures contracts, prediction markets and a native app for mobile devices.

Demand for professional trading grows on Solana

JTX's expansion follows the increasing demand for more complete trading platforms within the Solana network. The company's strategy is to serve both experienced investors and new users who want to trade different types of tokenized assets in a single environment.

Data shared by Jito Labs show that Solana accounted for 54% of global spot trading volume on decentralized exchanges during the first half of 2026, reaching a monthly average of US$ 425 billion.

The advance is also visible in the RWA market. At the beginning of July, tokenized real-world assets on Solana totaled approximately US$ 3,3 billion. Meanwhile, the trading volume of tokenized stocks reached US$ 5,77 billion in the second quarter of 2026, a result more than seven times higher than that recorded in the second half of 2025, reinforcing the growth of this segment within the cryptocurrency market.
