The new feature allows users to use wallets with any blockchain so they can have easier access to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrencies and other web3 digital assets.
“Circle's Programmable Wallet APIs allow developers to easily create and embed secure wallets in their applications. With these APIs, you can specify parameters such as custody type, transaction type, transaction amount limits and more that best fit your use case and generate specific wallets for your application”, explained the company.
In its announcement, the company noted that it has created programmable wallets “based on Multi-Party Computing Technology (MPC) to provide a comprehensive developer solution for storing, sending, receiving and spending digital currencies and Web3 NFTs.”
“As a developer, you can decide whether you or your users manage asset custody. Circle provides a complete experience with all the tools and services to handle the complex parts, including security, transaction monitoring, account recovery flows, and more.”
