The Bitcoin returned to trading above the US$ 60 thousand mark this Thursday, after a period of strong volatility that led the largest cryptocurrency on the market to fall back to the region of US$ 58.300. The recovery took place over the last few hours and returned part of the losses recorded at the beginning of the downward move.

At the time of publication, BTC was trading close to US$ 60.500, posting gains of nearly 3% in the last 24 hours. With this advance, its market capitalization was once again close to US$ 1,2 trillion, recovering an important psychological level for investors.

During the session, Bitcoin briefly surpassed the US$ 61 thousand range, driven by the return of buying demand after testing support at US$ 58.300. Despite the positive reaction, the asset still remains below previously recorded levels and continues trying to consolidate a more consistent recovery.

The movement also benefited the cryptocurrency market as a whole. The sector's total capitalization reached approximately US$ 2.16 trillion, representing growth of about 2% in the period. At the same time, daily trading volume surpassed US$ 83 billion, indicating increased activity among investors.

Another figure that drew attention was Bitcoin dominance, which remained above 56%. The indicator shows that, even with the appreciation of the main altcoins, the largest cryptocurrency continues to concentrate most of the market's capital.

Among the main assets, Ethereum also posted a recovery. The second-largest cryptocurrency was trading near US$ 1.625, up approximately 3% in the last 24 hours. Even so, its price remains far from the levels seen at the beginning of the year.

Altcoins also followed the positive movement. Solana (SOL) was among the biggest highlights in the group of the ten largest cryptocurrencies, advancing more than 4%. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) posted a gain of close to 5%, while Cardano (ADA) rose more than 3%. Chainlink (LINK) also recorded similar performance during the period.

Meanwhile, XRP was trading near US$ 1,06, with moderate gains. The asset continued to receive market attention after ETFs linked to XRP recorded capital inflows, in contrast to Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, which once again posted outflows over the last few sessions.
