WalkN App
The WalkN App team will release the app shortly after the token is released. App users will be able to stake their WALKN tokens to earn income passively. Each bet will enter into an NFT lottery.
Prior to the official public release of the WalkN app, a closed private Beta will be released. Invitations to the Private Closed Beta will be sent to all members who have participated in any WalkN fundraising round through us or any IDO platform. The public Beta version will be released two weeks after that. 300 activation codes will be sent to the top 300 holders of the WALKN coin.
Power System
When a user uses the WalkN app, each movement consumes energy. Power is replenished 20% every 6 hours until the user reaches their efficiency threshold. Each shoe comes with a different energy level, starting at 5 energy points, but the user can always buy more by burning STEPS tokens in the app or by betting more WALKN coins.
anti-cheating
In order to prevent users from abusing the app and cheating within the app, the WalkN app has three built-in anti-cheating mechanisms. If a user is found to be cheating, the account related to the user is banned and no longer earns.

Limits and gains
In the WalkN app, there is a daily energy limit a user can spend and a daily limit on STEPS tokens a user can earn in Solo Mode. When a wearer starts with a new shoe, then the energy level is 5 and it takes 15 minutes to exercise. The higher the level of a shoe, the more it will get the power cap and the higher gain in STEPS chips. Please note that the power cap is automatically replenished by 35% after every four hours.

Name tags
Badges are earned by users after completing tasks within the app. There are 5 types of badges and with more difficult tasks the badges are louder. WalkN App: App modes
STEPS, are earned simply by moving as long as a user has purchased an NFT shoe via the market. However, there are different modes with different levels to reach that will unlock different upgrades, accessories and/or earning potentials. When a player creates an account on the WalkN app, he can use the app without winning or just exploring its features before purchasing an NFT. An NFT is required in the app to start earning STEPS chips.
Solo Mode
Users in Solo Mode are given NFT sneakers and must move to earn STEPS chips. To earn STEPS tokens it is necessary to spend energy. In the WalkN app, for every 5 minutes of movement2 of movement, the user would spend 1 Energy. To restore power to their NFT shoes, the user needs to use STEPS chips. These tokens can be purchased on DEX/CEX, exchange WALKN for STEPS, or a user can use already purchased STEPS tokens from their wallet.
The WalkN app would allow the user to see a status indication of their activity based on their speed. It would be walking, jogging or running. In case of poor GPS detection, it will be displayed in the app and the user will not be able to earn STEPS tokens, but will not spend any energy either.
For every minute of movement, a coin will be awarded based on four key parameters:
- sneaker type – Each NFT sneaker has a different STEPS return base based on its type.
- Sneaker Efficiency – The more efficient a shoe is, the more STEPS it earns every minute. There are a total of 30 levels, 0-29, users can only earn STEPS. At the highest level, level 30, users will have the option to choose between continuing to earn STEPS or unlocking additional accessories like mystery box, upgrades. Users at this level will have control over their gain types and can switch back and forth as they wish.
- Sneaker's Comfort Attribute – The higher the comfort level of a shoe, the more a user can earn. At the highest level, level 30, users will have the option to choose between continuing to earn STEPS or unlocking additional accessories such as mystery box, upgrades.
- Sneaker's movement speed – The movement speed of a shoe is a very important aspect of gaining STEPS. A user must stay within the shoe's range in order to achieve greater gains. Whenever a wearer goes out of a shoe's optimal range, their earnings can drop by as much as 80%, depending on the difference between their current speed and the optimal range. Earnings will stop after the power runs out, but a user can still continue tracking their movements or manually exit Solo Mode from within the app.
Club Mode
No club mode you can walk, run or run together with your friends, who can join you via a personal invite link. During Club Mode, the power outage rate will be slightly higher based on the amount of people you bring with you. This also affects the amount of STEPS you earn with each session.
Each extra player that joins your Club Mode sessions will increase the multiplier and therefore result in a higher Energy drop rate and higher STEPS production. Metaverse Club Mode
You can also choose to enter the metaverse from the WalkN App club anytime, anywhere. There are nine types of clubs for you to choose from. Each club will have a different energy burn rate and STEPS earning potential. When a user level up in the club, there will be various perks like mystery box, upgrades, new shoes, etc.
Marathon Tournament Mode
In this mode, the user can participate in different marathon tournaments and other sporting events organized by the WalkN community. These events will be conducted weekly and monthly. To participate in the tournaments, users must register at least 24 hours in advance on the tournaments tap. There will be a small tournament entry fee, which will be refunded upon successful completion of the Tournament.
As the word implies, a Weekly Tournament lasts for an entire week. A player can only participate in one Weekly Tournament at a time. With the Weekly Tournaments, the player is able to choose between the following distances: 2,5 km, 5 km and 7,5 km. The distance selection may change over time depending on the preference of the WalkN app community.
In addition to the Weekly Tournaments, the WalkN app will also host Monthly Tournaments, which again, as the name implies, runs for an entire month. As with Weekly Tournaments, players can also participate in only one Monthly Tournament at a time. With the Monthly Tournaments, players will be able to choose between the following distances: 5km, 10km and 15km. Again, the distance selection may change over time depending on the preference of the WalkN app community.
In the Challenge Journal, only users who have successfully registered will receive a confirmation message. The Set a Target feature of the WalkN app allows users to track their progress over time. The marathon will be marked complete once the target distance has been completed. In this step, users will be alerted through the Challenge Journal. Please note that users cannot repair or clean their shoes during the marathon.
Registration fee
To ensure participants' commitment, a small $WALKN token entry fee will be charged at the time of registration. The entry fee is refunded once the marathon is completed. Any participant who does not complete the marathon in the specified time will have their fees sent to a common pool that would be used for Leaderboard rewards.
Leaderboard
This is to rank participants based on their points. Points are calculated based on the users running speed and the attributes of the shoes used.
Background Mode
This mode is designed for people who don't want to actively participate or for active users who want to earn while not actively using the WalkN app. Users will be able to earn STEPS even if the WalkN app is not actively used, as long as they have enabled Background Mode. But they must have an NFT sneaker inside their app.
Background Mode will track every step directly from the Health app sensors on your mobile device, with a daily limit of 3500 steps. These earnings are passive and fixed, as they are not linked to performance or other bonuses and limits, including the daily earnings limit. When using Background Mode, the user will not suffer any power loss or damage to the shoe.
WalkN App: Tennis
There are four types of shoes in the app to suit every type of exercise intensity and fitness level of a user. The higher the quality of a shoe, the greater the cost of repair, but also the greater the potential for earnings per day. The STEP user base is not static, and depends on several factors, such as:
- Sneaker Efficiency (Low Resilience Affects Efficiency).
- GPS Signal – Gain is lost if the GPS signal is weak while using the WalkN app.
- Mobile network signal strength and stability – The mobile network also impacts user earnings while using the app. If the network is bad, then the user will have reduced gain.
Attributes
Below are four key attributes of the shoes used in the WalkN App:

Resilience will help users earn more points in Tournament Mode if their shoes are highly resilient. This is because shoes with high resilience will stay above the wear mark for a long time, which would help users avoid unnecessary penalties. Of course, users can reset their shoes' attributes using STEPS tokens, but the more they reset, the higher the reset cost.
Rarity and Levels
- tennis rarity – There are five rarities of a shoe in the WalkN app. When a new shoe is minted, the value of each attribute will be chosen randomly within the minimum and maximum values according to the rarity of the WalkN app. There may be scenarios where shoes of the same rarity can have very different Attribute distributions.
- tennis levels – STEPS can be used to improve your shoes. Each level has its own time period to finish. It grows with the respective amount of STEPS required in each tennis level. Users can buy and use more STEPS tokens to speed up the progress of each level. Each shoe will receive additional Attribution points as it levels up. Additional benefits will unlock upon reaching certain level milestones.

Users can combine two shoes and mint a brand new sneaker, which would be producing a sneaker box. The two shoes used in the coining of the new sneaker would be classified as “Parents”. The wearer must have both of the Parents' shoes and both shoes must have full durability. User can conduct a maximum of 7 tennis coining events. The more a user mints a new shoe, the higher the cost. The cost would be in WALKN/STEPS tokens.
Shoe attributes are randomized based on their quality. Each shoe mint will have a 36-hour cooling off period for the parent's shoes, but the newly minted shoe can be used in the app to earn STEPS. A user can mint two sneakers at the same cost. From the 3rd mint, the mint cost will increase. As a user mint more sneakers, there is a possibility to receive more than one box of sneakers! Users will receive a new sneaker as soon as they open the shoebox. The quality of the sneaker is based on the quality of the shoes used for the minting.

At the highest level, 30, in the WalkN app, users will have the option to burn WALKN/STEPS to customize their swipes to personalize them. Customization will include features like – name your shoe, add a personal quote, or add your own style and color, etc.
fixing your sneakers
A user is required to periodically repair their shoes to restore their full earning potential. This is the Resilience Attribute of sneakers.
Restoration of Resilience – When using the WalkN app in Solo or Club mode, a wearer's shoe will wear out and need periodic repairs. This is to restore a user's full earning potential. Without repair, a shoe would result in less WALKN/STEPS output per energy used.
That's why it's important to keep your shoes' resilience in check to ensure they last. Also, users need to ensure that their shoes never reach 100% Durability as this will result in a “workout” penalty, which can lead to the shoes being useless. There are 3 levels of Resilience/Durability for each shoe and the higher the Durability of a shoe, the more expensive it is to repair it again.
- A 10/100 Durability, the efficiency of the shoe to gain 10% drops
- With 60/100 Durability, the efficiency of the shoe to gain 50% drops
- A 70/100 Durability, the efficiency of the shoe to gain 95% drops
So always make sure you keep restoring strength to a shoe to keep it durable as you use the WalkN app.
Accessories and Packages
The user will be able to unlock various accessories and packs when their shoes reach a certain level. Users will also be able to improve the attributes of their shoes by using these accessories in their Unclaimed Packs. Users will be able to use the corresponding accessories in Unclaimed Packs, for example an Efficiency accessory can only be used for Efficiency Packs.
Users can also upgrade their Packs by burning STEPS tokens and can also combine with other Packs of the same level and type to unlock a higher level Pack. Once a user reaches level 4, then. WALKN tokens will also be needed to update Packages.
WalkN Marketplace
Trade
Users will be able to buy and sell their shoes, mystery boxes, packs and accessories with/from other users. Users will only use WALKN tokens for any transaction within the tennis market. WALKN coins can be purchased on a CEX, DEX or directly within the app using BNB.
Leasing & Renting
Users will soon be able to rent or rent their shoes to other users using the WalkN app. To do this, the user must reach the Badge which unlocks the rental feature for them. Once qualified, users can create a 24-hour rental agreement using their WALKN tokens. Upon expiration of the contract, WALKN tokens are refunded to the contract owner.
A lease agreement can last up to 10 days. Failure to comply with the terms of the Rental Agreement will result in a reduced rating for the renter.
