The message came just hours after the U.S. government signaled it could impose tariffs of up to 100% on several Chinese products, a move that heightened nervousness in global markets. Investors initially reacted with a sharp drop, but Trump's more conciliatory tone brought momentary relief to U.S. and European stock markets.
According to analysts, the president's post was interpreted as an attempt to curb investor pessimism and demonstrate a willingness to engage in dialogue.
