With the integration of the two platforms, Robinhood customers can now use Robinhood Conect to buy crypto through MetaMask, which allows them to simply and easily buy crypto from several different providers.
Lorenzo Santos, Senior Product Manager at Consensys, commented about the importance of unity between platforms. “The integration between MetaMask and Robinhood is an exciting step in our shared commitment to reducing friction for users seeking access to a self-custody option,” he said. “We know that crypto and internet users want greater control and ownership. This will help more people access crypto in a seamless, self-custodial way, giving them more purchasing options with service providers they already use and trust.”
